Park Place Senior Living at WingHaven®, along with other senior living communities in the area, participated in the "Fill The Ambulance " Toy Drive with help from the United States Marine Corps and the St. Charles County Ambulance District.  The Toy Drive benefits Toys For Tots, in honor of Lance CPl. Phillip Vinnedge, a Marine from St. Charles County  who was killed in the line of duty this fall.  Vinnedge's family requested that in lieu of flowers, individuals wishing to honor his memory contribute toys to the Marine Corps annual Toys For Tot's campaign. 

Thanks to the residents, families and employees were so generous to donate toys and help to "Fill The Ambulance". District Paramedics and Marines will continue to fill the ambulances on December 14 at Francis Howell Central High School at the home basketball game scheduled for 6:30pm.  Vinnedge was a 2009 graduate of FHC.
